My SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card FAQs

If I am upgrading my existing Wood & Huston debit card to a new SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card, what do I need to do with my existing Wood & Huston Debit Card?

Once you receive and activate your new photo image card, you should destroy your existing card to ensure that you don’t accidentally try to use it again or have it fall into the wrong hands. Your old Wood & Huston debit card will be deactivated when you activate your SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card.

Can I use a SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card with any Wood & Huston checking account?

You can use a SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card with any Wood & Huston checking account except StartFresh, StartFresh Checking and Business Accounts at this time.

When will my new SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card arrive?

You will receive your card by mail within 7-10 business days from the day you place your order. 

How and when will I receive my new PIN (Personal Identification Number) for my SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card?

You will set your PIN at the time you activate your card.  Cardholders call: 1-800-567-3451 to activate their new, reissued, or replacement card.  You have the convenience to choose a 4 digit PIN number during the activation process.  It’s important to remember that signature-based transactions (select credit rather than debit) do not require a PIN for approval, so you can use your card after activated with a PIN or with a signature, as you wish.

Do I need to change automatic payments I currently have established with my current Wood & Huston Debit Card number vendors?

Yes. A new number will be assigned to your new card.  Once you receive your new SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card, your old card and card number will no longer be valid.

You should consider using our Bill Pay solution within Electronic Banking to simplify your payments.  With Electronic Banking Bill Pay you can pay and view all your bills with one login at your convenience, and never have to worry about notifying your billers when your debit card changes.

I have a joint account and both of us have our own debit cards. Can we each have different images? Can we both have the same image?

It’s your choice! You can both have the same image or different images. Each card is ordered separately so you can use or reuse whatever images you choose. You can choose the same image for two separate cards or two different images for two separate cards.

Can I use more than one photo on my card?

No. You can only choose one photo, either for a SmartPhoto Security or Picture Perfect.  You can create a collage of photos with your photo editing software and convert it to a single image for submission.

How will I be charged for my new SmartDesign Debit Card

Your checking account will be charged $6.95 each time you order a new SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card, unless your checking account package or other Wood & Huston promotion allows you to get your first SmartDesign Studio Debit Card free.

How often can I update my photo?

You can update your photo at any time and as often as you like. Just remember that your checking account will be charged for each new SmartDesign Studio Photo Debit Card ordered.

What should I do if I lose my Debit Card or it gets stolen?

Always safeguard your Wood & Huston Debit Card to make sure no unauthorized purchases are made to your account.

If it’s lost or stolen, during business hours, call us IMMEDIATELY at (660) 886-6825. You can also send a secure email message to our Customer Service Department using the Secure Email within your online banking.  After business hours call Visa (800) 554-8969.

Image Guidelines

  • Upload Image Requirements:
  • Minimum size of 840 X 840 for the picture Perfect Debit Card
  • Minimum size of 100 X 100 for the SmartPhoto Security Debit Card
  • Not larger than 10MB
  • JPEG, PNG, GIF, Bitmap or TIFF Format

Cardholder Supplied Images and/or Text should not contain

  • Political Statements
  • Advertising, promotional text, slogans, copyrighted or trademarked material
  • Phone numbers, URLs
  • Brand names or branded products
  • Celebrities, athletes, musicians, public figures, etc
  • MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®, or any other payment brand references
  • References to any Visa sponsorship property, such as the Olympics or NASCAR
  • Socially unacceptable groups
  • Provocative or sexual content
  • Profanity, obscenities or nudity
  • Violence, firearms, weapons or ammunition
  • Alcohol or tobacco
  • Any content that might result in problems at point of sale or interfere with security features of the card
  • Any content that might infringe, denigrate or dilute the Visa brand or its member financial institutions
